Sonnet
Lest We Forget From four-twenty-six, at the dawn of light, The ANZAC spirit wakes upon the shore, To honor those who fought with all their might, Those who never returned from distant war. A century and ten years past the strife, When youth did line the Gallipoli sand, They paid the price with their young precious life, For freedom and the love of this fair land. Now wreaths are laid within the early sun, As stories of their mateship we tell share, Their long courageous service now is done, In quiet gratitude, we offer prayer. A day of solemn reflection we keep, Remembering them all, in hearts so deep. 2026.04.25![]()
