Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day, Ladies, take your rest,
This day of luxury is yours to spend,
Do what you will, by nothing be distressed,
Let none to break the quiet you intend.
Rise when you please, or stay within your bed,
No chores to do but satisfy your heart;
By loving care and simple comfort led,
In restful peace, this gentle day let start.
The sun is bright, the air is fresh and free,
Though autumn calls, the flowers bloom like spring,
Let nothing break this calming reverie,
Nor worry cause the cheerful thoughts to wing.
   Enjoy this day, let naught your mind confine,
   Know you are loved, none matters, rain or shine.
